Christine Mouat

I've been a full-time breast and general surgeon in Wellington since 20xx, in Private practice at Riddiford Medical and working in Public at Hutt Hospital, with teaching commitments through Otago Medical School.

My primary work focus is on the management of breast cancer, and its prevention, working closely with Breast Screen Aotearoa and with Plastic Surgery for breast reconstruction. I work with those who have a family history of breast cancer, to find options to keep you well.
I also perform a range of General Surgical operations including remove skin lesions, hernia repair and pilonidal sinus surgery. I completed specialist General Surgery training in New Zealand, with additional Fellowship training.
