Renal Medicine
I am a Renal and Kidney Transplant physician. I obtained my medical degree in 2001 and qualified as a physician in 2009, completing my speciality renal training in 2012. I spent eleven years at Wellington Regional hospital including doing visiting clinics at Hutt hospital. For over ten years I was a senior clinical lecturer at Otago university medical school, and still provide teaching for registrars wherever I work. I work in all aspects of nephrology. And have a passion for green clinical practice as well as transitional care for children with chronic kidney disease. I spent eight years in this role alongside Starship hospital, working with children and their families ensuring a smooth transition into the adult service.
