I’m a Consultant Psychiatrist and an entrepreneur. I did my Post Graduate Degree MMed (Psych) in Psychiatry in South Africa. I am an Affiliate of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and have been working in New Zealand as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2000. I have worked across the various disciplines of Psychiatry including community, inpatient, old age and child and adolescent psychiatry. I have also worked in Alcohol & Drug Services, as well as Dual Diagnosis (co-morbid alcohol and drug problems and mental illness). I am a Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Auckland. I am one of the directors and part of the team running Makoha Hospital and Rehabilitation in Rotorua. I have occasional clinics at Riddiford Medical Specialists.
